Dear Families,

TeamHope would like to take this time to notify all our families that we are now in the process of transitioning to accepting insurance on an out of network basis. Families who would like to determine if they are eligible for utilization of our comprehensive services on an out of network basis are encouraged to call our office at 908-766-1717. To begin this transition we will require a copy of your insurance card. An initial consultation is still required for all new participants or former patients who have been away from the practice for more then 6 months. Wishing you all a very Happy and Healthy New Year.

TeamHope’s primary focus is on providing therapeutic Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services to the pediatric population with a focus on Autism /PDD, Motor Speech Disorders, Fine and Gross Motor Delays, Sensory Disorders, Phonological/Articulation Disorders, Visual Perceptional Disorders, & Feeding Therapy. Our academically based services address a range of Literacy and Learning Disabilities.

This standard of excellence in care and treatment philosophy is grounded in the best practice guidelines that dictate that an appropriate intervention program should consider many different components to successfully treat the unique pattern of challenges and strengths of autistic children and their families.

The TeamHope therapeutic approach is strongly influenced by developmental principles and the importance of the motor system to the acquisition of speech/language skills. The guiding principles of our feeding therapy incorporates a triad of components that address motor skills, sensory tolerance and behavioral responses. Our ability to think “out of the box” and integrate various methodologies is one of the strengths of the TeamHope therapeutic approach.

With the addition of their Feeding & Swallowing clinic, TeamHope continues to excel as a specialty practice with the addition of VitalStim under the clinical guidance of Vera Musial Slowey, M.A. CCC-SLP.

TeamHope provides their families with a level of excellence that includes superior support in navigating clinical, academic, legal & financial issues.

TeamHope’s therapy is provided in a play based, child friendly environment. TeamHope has extensive experience treating pediatric, elementary and adolescent age children.

Depending on circumstances, therapy can be appropriate for children younger then 18 months of age. Parents are encouraged to seek out qualified, licensed, clinical therapists when necessary to make these determinations.

In addition to providing private therapy, TeamHope is a vendor for the New Jersey Early Intervention System, and is also approved as a clinic/agency by the State Board of Education. Supplemental services for speech, occupational, and physical therapy are also available.
